24 Feb The Akashic Records
Imagine you are standing in a library, with bookshelves stretching out as far as the eye can see. Some of the volumes upon those shelves are ancient tomes, with crumbling leather binding and faded pages; others may be newer, slimmer, perhaps not much more than pamphlets. Each volume contains the experiences of a single soul as it traverses existence; the library contains everything that has ever been experienced since the beginning of time.
Amongst the shelves, your own tome awaits you – and in reading it, you may learn things you never knew about yourself, including past life experiences which may give insight into your experiences in this life.
This is not a library which exists in the physical world, but rather one on the spiritual plane, and the records within are known as the Akashic records.
The word comes from the Sanskrit word for sky or aether, akasha, which was used by the occultist Helena Blavatsky to refer to a sort of life force; she also referred to “indestructible tablets of the astral light” which recorded the past, present and even future of human experience, and over time the two became joined and the term Akashic records was coined.
Some believe that clairvoyant talents are powered by these records; that through their talent a clairvoyant is able to access the Akashic library, consult the records within and advise their client accordingly.
For some, it manifests in this way; the clairvoyant visualises the journey to the library, where they either consult the shelves themselves or are handed the tome they seek by an assistant, and they can then consult the records in order to offer insight.
For others, it may be less direct; perhaps more akin to calling the librarian on the telephone and having them consult the records for you than visiting in person. Still others may acknowledge the Akashic records as the source of their insight, without being able to put into words the process of accessing them.
You may at this point wish to access your own Akashic records, or those of your loved ones to see if perhaps you have known each other in previous lives. It is important, if you should so wish, to do so with the right outlook; one of awareness, love and truth, without judgment or selfish desires. Simple curiosity is often unproductive; rather than wondering what you may have been in a past life, asking for insight into how it affects a specific situation in your present may be more worthwhile.
Methods of accessing the Akashic records vary from person to person; you may be able to do so from a meditative trance state, through lucid dreaming or through astral projection.
You can also, of course, contact me and my team for clairvoyant email readings when you are in need of insight; it is often at these times that you have the most difficulty in clearing your mind for such spiritual journeys, and we are more than happy to provide you with a new perspective.
